EdenCode selected for U.S. Department of Energy Genesis Mission project with UC San Diego and Berkeley Lab

A project valued at more than $740,000 under the national initiative applying AI to scientific discovery.

EdenCode Inc. announced today that it has been selected, together with UC San Diego and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, for a project under the U.S. Department of Energy’s Genesis Mission, the national initiative applying artificial intelligence to scientific discovery. The project is valued at more than $740,000.

The Department of Energy announced the first round of Genesis Mission selections on July 22, 2026, selecting nearly 300 projects from a response spanning all 50 states.

The project will advance AI-accelerated quantum computing research, connecting EdenCode’s real-time decoding work with the experimental and computing resources of a major research university and a national laboratory.

The Department of Energy notes that selection for award negotiations is not a commitment by the Department to issue an award or provide funding.
